~* Clay *~ I use light-weight Japanese air dry clay for my flowers. In addition, I make accessories for dancers, particularly for belly dance. My style is influenced by the Japanese street fashion, but I also make accessories for theme weddings and events including Victorian, Gothic, Lolita, Pirate, Medieval, and Edwardian style. I also make custom bouquets, corsages, bottonierres, and centerpieces. All of my work is handmade and I take custom orders. I wear at least three or four pieces a day (earrings, bracelets, necklace) and always gets compliments on the beauty and uniqueness of them.Garnet Crystal Garden is a clay accessory boutique specializing in air dry clay hair flowers, clay flower jewelry, and flower wedding favours. I love the unique designs, that they are made from recycled metals and conflict free gems. Truly love my portal bracelet – first purchase and the quality is outstanding. Have ordered several things and have gotten nice comments on each piece when I wear it. Your designs are timeless, I will enjoy them for many years, thank you so much for helping Santa surprise me! Oh wow, you really did it this time! I had no idea you were working with my husband on the bracelet, necklace, and earrings – they are all fabulous. Keith saw the rings last night and his first words were “WOW! Their so much more awesome in person than what we saw online There are so many companies out there who don’t take care of their customers or present their products with such presentation and class, that I find it very satisfying that your company honors “the old way” of doing business. I am usually pretty cautious & hesitate when ordering anything “online”, so to have something this special to us be as easy as it was to order and then have it delivered pretty much “on the estimated due date”, well, you have a return customer in us. Just to let you know we have received the bracelet, it is great and we’re very happy with it. I will definitely be recommending your company to others. I recently ordered a borderless Flores ring with a 2.5 mm blue Zircon set into it – and I absolutely love it! Thanks to whomever forged it…and to Helen for the beautiful design. I will most certainly continue shopping at Reflective Imagery, and I will be telling my friends and family about my wonderful experience. I very much appreciate the extra effort in cleaning it up and in your professionalism in handling the issue. I’m thrilled to have my bracelet back, and it looks beautiful. I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for how wonderfully you handled my repair. I look forward to purchasing more pieces in the future, and hope to visit your showroom again soon. Everyone who helped me was a pleasure to deal with, and I really appreciate the extra effort you made to meet my request for blue moonstone. I’ve worn each pendant once, and have already received several compliments. I received my Dawn pendant with blue moonstone, and Shadow Box pendant a few days ago. I just wanted to thank Reflective Images for the lovely pendants I purchased. Thank you so much, and I love everything! Thank you! I felt so lucky that you processed my order so fast. I recently had successful surgeries and received my ring, pendant and earrings the day before I left. I’ve also been enjoying your new newsletter. My sister and I gave each other your earrings for Christmas – we thought that was funny (we both have good taste). I just love your jewelry! I get compliments almost every time I wear your earrings – I have 4 pair now. Hi, I got my Lotus earrings today they are so pretty.

The minimum pay rate per hour for people working as Graphic Designer in United States is 14 USD. Salaried employees are usually exempt from overtime as opposed to hourly paid staff. One major difference between salaried employees and hourly paid employees is overtime eligibility. The figures mentioned above are good approximations and are considered to be the standard. The hourly wage calculation may differ slightly depending on the worked hours per week and the annual vacation allowance. To convert salary into hourly wage the above formula is used (assuming 5 working days in a week and 8 working hours per day which is the standard for most jobs). Salaried jobs pay a fixed amount regardless of the hours worked. Usually, jobs are classified into two categories: salaried jobs and hourly jobs. The hourly wage is the salary paid in one worked hour. Hourly Wage = Annual Salary / ( 52 x 5 x 8 ) The reason is quite simple: it is easier to quantify your value to the company in monetary terms when you participate in revenue generation. Revenue generators usually get more and higher bonuses, higher salaries, and more frequent salary increments. The Pomodoro technique is all about getting your mind in the zone to finish your tasks. If the system seems simple, that’s because it is. Keep an "Overlearning" project in Todoist with a list of tasks you can quickly choose from the next time you find yourself with pomodoro time to spare. For example, you could spend the extra time reading up on professional journals or researching networking opportunities. Use the rest of your time for overlearning, or improving skills or scope of knowledge. The rule applies even if you do finish your given task before the timer goes off. Cirillo recommends that you track interruptions (internal or external) as they occur and reflect on how to avoid them in your next session. In the event of an unavoidable disruption, take your five-minute break and start again. A digital task manager like Todoist is a great place for these, but pen and paper will do too. Any ideas, tasks, or requests that come up should be taken note of to come back to later. The pomodoro is an indivisible unit of time and can not be broken, especially not to check incoming emails, team chats, or text messages. For example, "write rent check," "set vet appointment," and "read Pomodoro article" could go together in one session. Any tasks that will take less than one Pomodoro should be combined with other simple tasks. Sticking to this rule will help ensure you make clear progress on your projects. If a task requires more than four pomodoros, it needs to be divided into smaller, actionable steps. The 25-minute work sprints are the core of the method, but a Pomodoro practice also includes three rules for getting the most out of each interval:īreak down complex projects. When your session ends, mark off one pomodoro and record what you completed.Īfter four pomodoros, take a longer, more restorative 15-30 minute break. Set your timer for 25 minutes, and focus on a single task until the timer rings. Though Cirillo went on to write a 130-page book about the method, its biggest strength is its simplicity: Encouraged by the challenge, he found a tomato (pomodoro in Italian) shaped kitchen timer, and the Pomodoro technique was born. Feeling overwhelmed, he asked himself to commit to just 10 minutes of focused study time. Cirillo was struggling to focus on his studies and complete assignments. The Pomodoro Technique was developed in the late 1980s by then university student Francesco Cirillo. Take the quiz Explore on your own What is the Pomodoro Technique? Steps to Locate and Reset Fuel Cut Off Switch on Ford Fiesta (For Other Cars Keep Reading) One of those places was behind the drawer/glove compartment on the passenger side (the right side of the vehicle on US/EU cars and the left hand on UK/AUS cars). Then I figured out that the fuel shut off switch might be tripped, but the problem was that I could not find it!Īfter some research on possible inertia switch locations, I narrowed down the number of potential locations. At first, I thought that some major motor damage or fuel system malfunction caused this. However, the ignition switch worked fine, and the engine was cranking. I had a car accident with my 1.25 ccm Ford Fiesta 2006, and after a crash - the engine would not start. To start the engine after a car accident, you need to find the fuel cut off switch location (car inertia switch) and reset it. Thus, it prevents fuel from being pumped in case of fuel line damage during an accident. Like an electrical circuit breaker in your home, you can reset it by pushing the button or pulling the lever down.Īll modern fuel injection cars are equipped with an inertial fuel cut off switch that shuts off the power supply for the fuel pump if the vehicle is in a collision.
No one from Galilee held Nazareth in any high regard and it would definitely not be the choice for the Messiah to come from. No one paid any attention to Nazareth and the only reason people even now pay any attention to Nazareth is because Jesus grew up there. Though it may have only been symbolic, Jesus walked into the sinful places of our lives before calling us out of them and delivering us from them.įor Jesus to come from a place like Nazareth, that was about as low on the totem pole as you could get. Egypt is therefore a type of the world and sin which are places we were before Jesus freed us. The other significance is that Egypt was the place the Israelites were held captive before God freed them. Hosea 11:1 says out of Egypt I called my son. The significance of Jesus living in Egypt – even though it was for a brief time – was that it was a fulfillment of prophecy. This compares to the birth of Jesus and is a wonderful foreshadowing of what was to come in Jesus’ life. They were wrapped in cloths and eventually brought to Jerusalem to be used as Passover sacrifices in the temple. According to Jewish history, this place in Bethlehem was where unblemished lambs, who were firstborn males, were born. We learn from Genesis 35:19-21 the place where Rachel was buried was known as Migdal Eder. His childhood was probably just like every other child in Nazareth.īesides being the birthplace of Jesus, Bethlehem was also where Rachel was buried. “’Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?’ And they took offense at him…” ( Matthew 13:55-56).īased on these things, I believe Jesus grew up as an ordinary child in his home with his family until it was time for him to be revealed. In one instance, after his ministry began, he went to his hometown, and this is what they said about him. Based on comments that the people in his hometown made, he did not grow up telling people he was the Messiah. It is safe to say Jesus lived a very nondescript childhood. And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” ( Luke 2:51-52). But his mother treasured all these things in her heart. “Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. Very similar to the conclusion of Jesus being consecrated in the temple, here is what Luke says about Jesus after his encounter in the temple. The next incident happened when Jesus was twelve years old in the temple, as also recorded in Luke’s gospel. And the child grew and became strong he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him” ( Luke 2:39-40). “When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. Here is the extent of what we know about Jesus’ childhood. We know about his birth and that he was presented in the temple as was required by the law. The Bible does not tell us much about Jesus’ childhood. Photo credit: ©Getty Images/George Muresan Nazareth was Jesus’ hometown, and this was the place from which he identified. However, when they returned, Joseph was afraid to live in Judea, because of the new ruler Archelaus, so Joseph went to the region of Galilee and settled in Nazareth, and that is where Jesus grew up. Matthew would tell us that Joseph, Mary, and Jesus stayed in Egypt until Herod died, and at that point, an angel of the Lord told them it was safe to return to Israel. “When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi” ( Matthew 2:16). We don’t know how old Jesus was when they left for Egypt, but it is safe to assume he was in the neighborhood of two years old, which again is based on Matthew’s gospel. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him’” ( Matthew 2:13).Īfter the wise men had departed, Joseph took Mary and the baby Jesus to Egypt to escape Herod. ‘Get up,’ he said, ‘take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. “When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. Though Jesus was born in Bethlehem, we know that from Bethlehem, his next stop was Egypt. You will find this in Matthew and Luke’s gospel accounts of Jesus’ life. Most famously, we know Jesus was born in Bethlehem. From the Bible, we can determine the places Jesus lived and it can at least give us a framework to the question where did Jesus grow up. |
